Overview
Where Stories Find Their Beat. Phách Studio is a Hanoi-based production house creating music videos, commercials and visual stories for artists and brands. The website had to feel like the studio’s work: rhythmic, cinematic and rooted in Vietnamese culture — while showcasing everything learned in the course, from layout and components to scroll effects and code overrides.
Project: Phách Studio — website for a music video & TVC production studio
Context: Final project, Framer Masterclass Vietnam — FMC K12, 2026
Platform: Framer — designed & built without code
Role: Concept, UI design, motion & Framer build
Live site: phach.framer.website
The Concept
Every story has its own “phách”. In Vietnamese traditional music, phách is the beat that holds a performance together. The site borrows that idea — rhythm in the typography, section headings that repeat like a refrain, and video that sets the pace.
Design Language
Lacquer red, rice-paper cream. A palette drawn from lacquerware and festival banners; a condensed display face that keeps Vietnamese accents crisp at poster sizes. Phudu for display, Bricolage Grotesque for headings and editorial accents, Geist for body copy, labels and navigation.
Built in Framer
Layout & components. Responsive stacks, reusable section headings and service cards.
Effects & animations. Appear, scroll and hover effects that give every section its own beat.
Video-first storytelling. A showreel plus music-video loops instead of static thumbnails.
Code override. A small React override locks scrolling for 3 seconds while the intro plays.
